What it does
The Mouth is a synth and effect hybrid, derived from Tim Exile's live setup, that builds tuned melodies from incoming audio.
- Pitch tracking: detects the pitch of the input and tunes it to a chosen scale or to MIDI notes.
- Generators: Input, Synth, Bass and Vocoder, with a 5-fader mixer and master effects.
- Controls: eight performance knobs and 118 presets.
- Beats Mode: turns drum patterns into arpeggiated melodies. Runs in the free Reaktor Player or Reaktor 6+.

When to use it
The Mouth is a creative tool for turning vocals, beatboxing or drum loops into synth and bass lines that stay in key. It is not a corrective pitch tool like Auto-Tune or Melodyne, which fix existing vocals.
