When to use it
Massive is the older, lighter sibling of Massive X, and is still sold. It is known for the dubstep and EDM basses of the late 2000s and early 2010s, and remains quick to program.
- Best for: aggressive basses, leads and classic EDM sounds.
- Genres: dubstep, drum and bass, electro house and trance.
- Look elsewhere if: you want deeper modulation and modern workflow; Massive X, Serum 2 and Vital are the newer options.
