What it does
Invigorate is a bus compressor, limiter and overdrive in one plugin from Newfangled Audio (sold through Eventide). A radar-style control morphs between compression, limiting and distortion.
- Controls: Mix knob, Sensitivity tone controls for the sidechain, an Input Exciter that drives the dynamics stage, and Output Tone.
- Gain curve: Shape, Squash and Gate controls.
- Quality: gain compensation, oversampling and anti-aliasing.

When to use it
Invigorate leans towards adding density and energy rather than transparent control. It is closer in spirit to a colouring bus compressor such as The Glue than to a clean, feature-rich unit like FabFilter Pro-C 3.
- Best for: drum buses, stems and mix buses that need thickness or drive.
- Look elsewhere if: you want surgical or transparent dynamics control.
