What it does
WUNDERLICH is a tube plugin modelled on a one-of-a-kind hardware unit built around rare 1930s Arcturus vacuum tubes.
- Channel of stages: preamp, Vari-Mu compressor, EQ and an onboard mixer with multiple inputs.
- Drive: tube saturation shown as a percentage.
- Bridge travel: shifts between contemporary and retro tones.
- Metering: gain reduction meter.
When to use it
WUNDERLICH is a character piece for warm tube saturation running through to lo-fi textures. It is more of a sound-design and colouring tool than a transparent mixing utility.
- Best for: vintage-style drums, vocals, sample loops and buses.
