What it does

RZ062 is NEOLD's take on the 1960s Siemens Klangfilm RZ062 tube equalizer.

EQ modules: Pivot and Presence sections, in stereo or mid/side.
Stepped or continuous: the original's coarse 2 dB steps are available, or you can switch to continuous control.
Tube stage: Drive pushes the tube amplifiers (up to 48 dB of gain), and a Focus control shapes odd versus even harmonics.
Mix: parallel processing control, plus flexible EQ/Drive routing.

When to use it

Choose RZ062 for broad, coloured tone shaping with tube saturation built in, rather than surgical work. Its broad-stroke approach is closer to the Pultec and Manley-style EQs than to Pro-Q 4 or TDR Nova.

Best for: vocals, mix buses and mastering, when you want to add tilt, presence and a touch of tube colour in one step.
Look elsewhere if: you need narrow cuts or dynamic EQ.
