What it does
Amped Pink Sabbath models two British amps from the early 1970s in one plugin, using ML Sound Lab's Vorna Amp Modeling. It has five channels: two for fuzzy, heavy tones and three for cleaner, more open rock sounds.
- Sabbath Clipped: the fuzziest channel, which the developer describes as "ultimate fuzz and note definition".
- Sabbath Normal: the same amp without the clipped voicing, for slightly cleaner heavy tones.
- Pink Jumped, Pink Brilliant and Pink Normal: the second amp's channels, with "articulate pick attack" from cleans to edge of break-up and "dimed plexi-style crunch".
- Two 3D cabinets: Tony '74 Gray, based on a 1974 Laney Klipp 4x12, and Volt '73 Green, based on a 1973 Hiwatt 4x12. Mics move from centre to edge, front or back, and can be angled.
- IR loader: load your own impulse responses instead of the built-in cabs.
- Pedalboard: six pedals in a fixed chain: Noise Gate, Compressor, Drive Pedal, Chorus, Analog Delay and Reverb, so a full rig needs no extra plugins.
- Tuner and standalone: a built-in guitar tuner and a stage-ready standalone app that can be controlled over MIDI.
A free trial is available. The developer does not list a version number on the product page.

When to use it
Amped Pink Sabbath is the pick for early-70s British rock and doom tones without buying a big suite. Compared with AmpliTube 5 MAX or Guitar Rig 7 Pro, it has only two amps, but they are matched with period cabinets and cost far less. Unlike Archetype: Gojira X or Archetype: Nolly X, it is built for loose, fuzzy, vintage gain rather than tight modern metal. Compared with Amped Oracle, it trades one rock head for two vintage amps and five channels, including the fuzz-voiced Sabbath Clipped.
- Best for: vintage hard rock, doom and psychedelic riffs, and edge-of-break-up rhythm parts.
- Genres: classic rock, doom metal, stoner rock and psychedelic rock.
- Look elsewhere if: you want modern tight high gain (Amped ICON or Amped Triple Rev G) or a wide amp collection (AmpliTube 5 MAX).
