Amped Blackout models a classic American high-gain amp with three channels, from crunchy overdrive to very high gain.
It adds a six-pedal board and the Reflex 3D cabinet section, and costs €59.99 (about $68).

What it does
Amped Blackout is ML Sound Lab's model of a classic American high-gain amplifier, built with the developer's Vorna amp modeling. ML Sound Lab calls it the "biggest and most modern sounding version" of that amp.
- Three channels: ONE (crunchy overdrive), TWO (high gain) and THREE (insane high gain).
- Reflex 3D cabinets: three included cabs, Djent 30, Green 90 and Mick 77.
- Mic placement: move the mic from the centre to the edge of the speaker, front to back, and change its angle.
- Custom IRs: load your own impulse responses in place of the included cabs.
- Effects: six built-in effects: noise gate, compressor, drive pedal, chorus, analog delay and reverb.
- Extras: an integrated tuner, MIDI control and a standalone app.

When to use it
Amped Blackout is a focused, inexpensive pick for one sound: a modern American high-gain head with three gain stages and cabs built from ML Sound Lab's own captures. Compared with Archetype: Gojira X and Archetype: Nolly X, it offers one amp instead of several and a smaller effects section, at a lower price. Unlike TONEX MAX or Neural Amp Modeler, it is a fixed amp model with a set channel layout rather than a platform for loading many captured amps. The adjustable Reflex 3D mic placement and IR loading give more cab control than a simple fixed cab.
- Best for: tight modern high-gain rhythm guitars and heavy leads.
- Genres: metal, metalcore and hard rock.
- Look elsewhere if: you need clean or vintage tones; Amped Gemini73 or a broader suite like AmpliTube 5 MAX suits that better.
