What it does
Rift Feedback Lite is the free, cut-down feedback effect from Minimal Audio's Rift, built around physical-modelling feedback that you can tune to a key.
- Modes: eight, including resonators, comb filters and synced delays.
- Pitch control: pitch snapping to preset scales, plus MIDI note tracking to set the feedback frequency.
- Stereo: stereo spread and ping-pong delay modes.
- Extras: dark and light interface themes. It's free (version 1.6.0 on KVR).

When to use it
A free way to get melodic, tuned feedback and resonator effects without a full delay or distortion suite. It lacks the wider distortion and modulation toolset of the paid Rift, so the Lite version suits users who mainly want pitched feedback textures.
- Best for: turning drums, noise or vocals into tuned resonances, and adding metallic or ringing tails to synths.
- Genres: electronic, ambient, experimental and sound design.
