What it does
Poly Flanger is Minimal Audio's flanger that snaps its modulation to musical notes, so the sweeps stay in key instead of gliding through arbitrary pitches.
- Voices: up to 8 stackable flanger voices set to harmonic intervals.
- Voicings: 12 modes, including triads, 7ths, sus chords and pentatonic.
- Styles: three flanger flavours: Classic, Hollow and Vapor.
- Modulation: stereo LFO with randomisation, beat-synced transitions and a damping filter.

When to use it
Where most flangers are a moving comb filter, this one turns the comb into chords, which makes it more of a harmonic effect for synths, pads and plucks than a classic jet-plane sweep.
- Best for: adding arpeggio-like, in-key movement to synths, guitars and sampled loops.
- Genres: electronic, ambient, future bass and pop production.
- Look elsewhere if: you want a traditional tape-style flange; a conventional flanger is simpler.
