A modular effects environment that combines more than 70 MeldaProduction processors (compressors, EQs, delays, reverbs, modulation, spectral dynamics and more) in one plugin with a routing matrix.

It includes multiband and mid/side processing, feedback, and modulators such as LFOs, envelope followers and pitch and transient detectors. It is used both as a preset box and for building custom chains for mixing and sound design.

What it does

MXXX brings over 70 MeldaProduction processors into a single modular plugin.

Routing matrix: connects devices automatically, with manual control and feedback paths with internal latency compensation.
Modulators: LFO, level follower, envelope, random generator, pitch detector and transient detector.
Multiband and mid/side: process bands or mid and side separately.
Presets: over 500 active presets, each working like its own plugin.

MXXXCore lets you add processors one by one.

When to use it

MXXX is the deepest modular multi-effect here, closer to a toolkit than a creative plugin. Pick it if you want to build almost any processing chain, mix or sound design, inside one plugin. Infiltrator 2 or Multipass are faster and friendlier for creative multi-effects.

What producers say

MusicRadar (2016) found it hugely powerful with intuitive routing and strong modulation, but the full price too high for most.
Resident Advisor (2015) rated the sound 4.5/5 and versatility 4.9/5, but ease of use only 3/5, calling it a kitchen-sink design with a steep learning curve.
