When to use it

MVintageRotary is the better pick when you want a classic Leslie sound quickly, at about half the price of MeldaProduction's MRotary. Compared with MRotary, it drops the algorithmic mode, extra speakers and material-based cabinet, but its controls are simpler and closer to the real unit. Unlike MicroShift or PhaseMistress, which are pitch-shift and phaser effects, it simulates the rotating horn and drum with real Doppler movement. Next to UberMod, it is far more focused: it does one job, a rotary cabinet with amp drive and MIDI speed switching.

What producers say

Reviewers found it a convincing, easy-to-use Leslie model with more uses than organ alone; the criticisms are minor.
