What it does

MUnison is MeldaProduction's "unique combination of doubler/unison and smart harmonizer." It can thicken a part with classic double-tracking or detect its pitch and build scale-based harmonies with up to 50 voices.

Up to 50 voices: at the original pitch for unison and choir effects, or at harmonised intervals.
Smart harmony: pitch detection and harmony generation that follows a scale, usable in live performance.
Double-tracking: classic doubling for width and thickness on vocals and instruments.
Modulation: any parameter can be driven by an LFO, audio level follower, envelope generator, randomizer or pitch detector.
Channel modes: mid-side and surround support.
Workflow: automatic gain compensation, a safety limiter, A–H preset comparison, MIDI learn and a resizable, GPU-accelerated interface.

A free trial is available. KVR lists version 17.10, with free updates for life.

When to use it

MUnison is the pick for big doubling and choir-style stacks on any source, not just vocals. Compared with Waves Harmony, it is less focused on natural, MIDI-controlled vocal harmonies and more on large unison and scale-based stacks with deep modulation. Compared with Little AlterBoy, it is a stacking tool rather than a single-voice pitch and formant shifter. Its 50 voices and surround support go further than most harmonizers on the site.

Best for: vocal doubling, stacked harmonies, and choir or orchestra-like thickening on vocals, synths and guitars.
Genres: pop, electronic, cinematic and R&B.
Look elsewhere if: you want natural, formant-aware vocal harmonies played from MIDI (Waves Harmony) or simple pitch and formant shifts on one voice (Little AlterBoy).
