MTurboAmp collects more than 30 guitar amp heads and a dozen distortion pedals, and lets you edit their internals or build your own amps.

What it does
MTurboAmp is "a mighty collection of guitar amps and distortion pedals" from MeldaProduction. It covers amp heads and pedals only, with no built-in speaker simulation, and its idea is that you can get inside each model and redesign it. Cabinets come from MeldaProduction's MCabinet or a third-party cab plugin.
- Amps and pedals: 30+ amp heads and about a dozen distortion pedals, with more being added.
- Model editing: each model's internals are open, including the base frequencies, ranges and gains of its EQ.
- Distortion creator: build an amp module from scratch from up to nine distortion stages, or design your own pedals.
- EQ: two advanced 10-band dynamic EQs, at input and output, with high-pass and low-pass filters.
- GUI Designer: lay out your own device faces with knobs, switches, LEDs, sliders and buttons, using predesigned or imported graphics.
It can be upgraded to MGuitarArchitect. Sound On Sound notes a 15-day demo. MeldaProduction designs it to be paired with MCabinet.

When to use it
MTurboAmp suits players and producers who want to edit or build amp circuits, and design how they look, rather than pick from a few finished tones. Compared with AmpliTube 5 MAX and Guitar Rig 7 Pro, it has no cabinets, mics or rack effects of its own, so a full rig needs MCabinet or another cab plugin. Next to Neural DSP's Archetype: Nolly X, it offers many more models and much deeper editing, but not a focused all-in-one chain with cabinets and effects built in. Unlike Neural Amp Modeler or TONEX MAX, it models circuits you can rework instead of captures of real amps.
- Best for: guitar and bass amp tones, custom distortion design, and users who already own MCabinet.

- Look elsewhere if: you want a ready-made rig with cabinets and mics (AmpliTube 5 MAX, Guitar Rig 7 Pro) or captures of specific real amps (TONEX MAX, Neural Amp Modeler).
