What it does
MTrackAlign is MeldaProduction's ARA 2 plugin for time-aligning audio tracks to a guide track. ARA gives it the whole clips on the timeline, so it works on the full performance at once rather than in real time; the developer's pitch is to "align everything".

When to use it
MTrackAlign is the low-cost pick for quick, guide-based alignment of stacks and doubles inside an ARA-capable DAW. Compared with VocAlign 7, it is cheaper and pitched at instruments, horns and ADR as well as vocals, but it trades fine control for speed: the developer stresses there are no complex settings. Unlike Revoice Pro 5, it corrects timing only and does no pitch matching. It also works only through ARA, so it cannot be used in a host without ARA support.
- Best for: tightening vocal doubles and harmonies, aligning layered rhythm parts, and conforming ADR to a guide take.
- Genres: any style; especially pop, R&B and rock vocal production, plus film and TV post.
- Look elsewhere if: your DAW has no ARA support, or you need pitch matching as well as timing; Revoice Pro 5 does both, and VocAlign 7 offers more control over the alignment.
