MRhythmizerMB is the multiband version of MRhythmizer, applying sequenced time jumps, gating and filtering in up to 6 bands.

What it does

MRhythmizerMB is a "unique time manipulation effect" that uses built-in sequencers to control time, volume and filters. It is the multiband version of MRhythmizer, so each frequency band can get its own rhythmic pattern.

Up to 6 bands: different patterns per frequency range, for gating, glitching, repeating and scratching only part of the spectrum.
Sequencers: 36 sequences for time jumping, volume changes and filtering.
Multiband scratching: scratch or repeat one band while the rest plays on.
Host sync: every oscillator and modulator can lock to the host tempo.
Modulation: four modulators acting as LFOs, audio level followers, ADSR envelopes, randomizers or pitch detectors.
Platform tools: mono, stereo, M/S, surround and ambisonics channel modes, A to H preset slots with morphing, and MIDI learn.

When to use it

MRhythmizerMB is the pick when you want rhythmic effects on part of the spectrum only: stutter the hats while the kick plays straight, or gate just the low end. Compared with Effectrix2 and Stutter Edit 2, which treat the whole signal, its band splitting is the main advantage but it is slower to set up. Next to Infiltrator 2 it has fewer effect types, as it focuses on time, volume and filter sequencing. It suits users who enjoy deep editing.

Best for: band-specific glitching, gating and scratching on loops and full beats.
Genres: electronic, EDM and hip-hop.
Look elsewhere if: you just want quick beat repeats; the single-band MRhythmizer or Effectrix2 are simpler.
