MMultiAnalyzer by MeldaProduction

MMultiAnalyzer is a multi-track spectrum, loudness and stereo analyzer from MeldaProduction, with a sonogram view.

Instances on different tracks find each other and share their analyses, so you can spot frequency collisions between tracks. It costs $66.

Best for: Mix Bus, Mastering, Vocals, Bass, Drums. Genres: all genres.

Keywords: built-in analyzer, mixing, bass, vocals, full mix, bus processing, drums, electric guitar, kick, mastering, mix bus, simple, thin, utility.

What it does

MMultiAnalyzer is MeldaProduction's multi-track analyzer, sold as "the ultimate mixing companion". You insert an instance on each track you want to compare; the instances find each other and exchange their analyses, so one window shows several tracks at once.

A free trial is available from the developer's downloads page, and updates are free for life (per a KVR user).

When to use it

MMultiAnalyzer is the better pick when the question is how tracks overlap, not what one signal looks like. Compared with Voxengo SPAN or Insight 2, which mainly analyse the signal on the track they sit on, it gathers many tracks in one display and adds a dedicated collision view. Unlike Neutron 5, which shows masking inside a large mixing suite, it is a focused and much cheaper tool that only analyses and never changes the audio. For checking a master against streaming loudness targets, Youlean Loudness Meter 2 is the more focused tool.

What producers say

Reviewers see it as a near-essential, affordable mixing aid, with CPU use and the GUI as the usual complaints.
