A metering plugin that checks a mix or master for common technical problems: loudness (LUFS), true peak, dynamic range, stereo field and low-end mono compatibility.

Each meter shows green, orange or red against a chosen target (streaming, club, CD and others), so it's quick to see what needs fixing.

What it does

LEVELS is a set of meters that flags technical problems in a mix or master, with colour-coded warnings against a chosen delivery target.

Loudness: integrated, short-term and momentary LUFS, plus loudness range.
Peaks: true peak (dBTP) with inter-sample clipping warnings.
Dynamics: PSR and PLR readings to show if a master is over-compressed.
Stereo field: vectorscope and correlation meter, with a stereo filter to check width in one frequency range.
Bass space: checks that the low end stays mono-compatible.
Presets: targets for streaming platforms and other delivery formats; each meter turns green, orange or red.

When to use it

LEVELS is aimed at producers who mix and master their own music and want a quick yes/no answer rather than a wall of numbers. Insight 2 and Youlean show more detail; LEVELS tells you which reading is a problem and roughly why.

Best for: a final technical check on the master bus: peaks, over-compression, stereo problems and a wide or out-of-phase low end.
Genres: all; popular with electronic, hip-hop and pop producers mastering at home.
Look elsewhere if: you need broadcast compliance logging (VisLM, WLM Plus) or a free meter (Youlean).
