2BC multiCORR is a 31-band correlation meter from MAAT with built-in monitor controls for finding phase and stereo problems.
It includes a standalone version and costs $49.
Best for: Mastering, Mix Bus. Genres: all genres.

What it does
2BC multiCORR is MAAT's multiband correlation meter. It splits the correlation reading into 31 frequency bands, so phase problems that a single broadband meter would average away show up where they actually sit in the spectrum.
- 31 bands: correlation per band, with centre frequencies weighted towards the low end: four bands for the bottom octave, six more up to 200 Hz and three for 200 to 400 Hz.
- trueLinear scale: MAAT's own scale, meant to match the display to how the problem is heard.
- Broadband meters: stereo balance and overall correlation alongside the band display.
- Monitor modes: Left Only, Right Only, Mono (L+R), Difference (L-R) and Flip, for checking a mix by ear.
- Layout: a collapsible interface, plus a native standalone version for metering outside the DAW.
- Metering only: it does not change the audio.
2BC multiCORR works at 44.1 to 384 kHz. It is a perpetual license, and a free demo is available.
When to use it
2BC multiCORR does one job in more depth than the all-in-one meters: it shows which frequency ranges are cancelling, which matters most for bass and kick in mono. Compared with Insight 2 and bx_meter, whose correlation meters are one part of a larger set, it gives a per-band picture but no loudness or spectrum metering. SPAN shows the spectrum and an overall correlation, but not correlation split by band. It pairs naturally with MAAT's RSPhaseShifter, which can then correct what the meter finds.
- Best for: finding frequency-specific phase and mono compatibility problems, especially below 400 Hz.
- Genres: any.
- Look elsewhere if: you want a complete metering suite with loudness and spectrum; Insight 2 or bx_meter cover more.
- Tip: use it to locate the instruments or bands causing cancellation before reaching for a phase correction tool.
What producers say
Coverage is thin; the one review found treats it as a useful, focused diagnostic tool.
- Music Connection (Michael Stern) noted that a broadband correlation meter "can conceal frequency-specific problems" and found the 31-band display most useful at the bottom end.
- Same review: suggested using it to investigate phase problems before correcting them with RSPhaseShifter.
