What it does
Taps & Portals is a pair of delay and feedback effects Lunacy developed with Benn Jordan.
- Taps: turns simple echoes into layered, kaleidoscopic delays.
- Portals: lets you build your own feedback networks; Lunacy says it can bend "space, time, and logic". Portals needs BEAM.
- Presets: 50 for Taps, plus 50 BEAM presets called Parallax.
BEAM owners can use up to three Portals nodes in series or parallel.

When to use it
Pick it for experimental, textured delays and feedback loops, rather than a clean tape or ping-pong echo. It suits ambient, IDM, cinematic and sound-design work, where you want repeats that evolve into something new.
