What it does

Filter is a free plugin from Lunacy Audio with classic and creative filter types. It also runs inside BEAM.

Filter types: state variable lowpass, bandpass, highpass, low shelf, bell, high shelf, peak and notch, plus comb and formant filters.
Extras: adjustable slope from 1x to 8x, a note-snap option that quantises the band frequency to a musical pitch, and stereo image shaping.
Presets: 20 presets.

When to use it

A free, no-fuss filter with a few unusual extras (comb, formant and note snap) that a plain EQ or stock filter won't give you. Use it for sweeps, tonal filtering and vowel-like effects on synths, drums and vocals.
