What it does
BEAM 2.0 is Lunacy Audio's modular effects playground, in which you combine several effects to transform vocals, drums, keys and synths.
- Bundled effects: Grains (granular), Space (convolution reverb), Filter and Haze (chorus layers) ship with it, and each can also run as a standalone effect.
- Content: 300+ global presets, 150+ node presets for effects and modulators, and 200+ impulse responses for the convolution reverb.
- Preset generator: builds new patches with what Lunacy calls a probability cluster algorithm.

When to use it
BEAM suits sound designers who want granular, filtering, reverb and modulation in one rack instead of separate plugins. It can also run Lunacy's own effects such as Bismuth, Taps & Portals, Grains, Space and Volt inside it, so owning BEAM covers some of the developer's single-effect plugins.
- Best for: creative processing of drums, vocals, keys and synths, and quick idea generation with the preset generator.
