What it does

LANDR FX Acoustic is a preset-based multi-effect for acoustic guitar, piano, strings and other acoustic sources. The idea is to skip the knob-turning: you pick a preset and set how much of it you hear with a single blend dial.

50 presets: ranging from dark ambience to bright, defined tones (one part of the product page says 49).
Five banks: Creative, Reverb, Delay, FX and EQ, according to Audio Sorcerer's review.
Blend dial: the only main control; it sets how strongly the chosen preset is applied.
Effects inside: reverb, chorus, delay and more, combined in each preset.
EQ and dynamics: tone shaping and level control are built into the presets, so one instance can brighten or tame a part.
Part of a family: it shares its one-dial interface with the other LANDR FX plugins, such as LANDR FX Voice, and is sold in the LANDR FX Suite.

It is included in LANDR Studio subscriptions and can also be bought on its own; the product page does not show the single-plugin price, a version number or a trial.

When to use it

LANDR FX Acoustic is the pick when you want a finished acoustic sound in seconds and don't want to build an effects chain. Compared with Soundtoys Effect Rack or Kilohearts Multipass, it gives up almost all hands-on control: there are no modules to rearrange and no per-effect settings, only a preset and a blend amount. That makes it much faster for beginners, but also less flexible than Infiltrator 2 or Multipass for sound design. Its value is best for LANDR Studio subscribers, who get it with the rest of the suite.

Best for: quick polish, space and sparkle on acoustic guitar, piano, violin and other acoustic parts.
Genres: pop, rock, singer-songwriter and acoustic.
Look elsewhere if: you want to shape each effect yourself; Effect Rack, Multipass or separate EQ, compressor and reverb plugins give that control.
Tip: Audio Sorcerer suggests using it as a parallel effect near the end of the chain, after the main mix moves are done.

What producers say

The one review found is positive about the sound and speed, with no specific criticisms.

Audio Sorcerer (review of the FX Suite) called the series a "great one knob solution" and said the suite "doesn't disappoint", despite the writer's mixed past feelings about one-knob plugins.
Praised: high-quality results, a wide preset range and a quick route to a polished sound, used either as the full effect or as a parallel layer.
Tip from the review: stack more than one instance for different effects rather than looking for one preset that does everything.
