Efektor Meloditron Smart Harmony by Kuassa

Smart harmonizer plugin from Kuassa's Efektor stompbox series, designed for guitar and other sources.

Best for: Guitars, Keys & Synths. Genres: Rock & Indie, Metal.

Keywords: electric guitar, keys, mixing.

What it does

Meloditron is a monophonic smart harmonizer that adds two harmony voices, following the key and scale you choose.

Scales: 18 scales across the keys.
Voices: two harmony voices, each with its own pan.
Tone: a low-pass filter for the harmonies.

When to use it

Use it when you want in-key harmonies that follow a single-note line, such as twin-guitar-style leads, without setting intervals by hand. Because it's monophonic, chords will confuse it; Harmonitron's fixed-interval voices work better for those. Suits classic rock and metal leads and simple vocal doubling.
