Efektor Gainia XT Preamp by Kuassa

Preamp pedal plugin from Kuassa's Efektor stompbox series, designed for guitar and other sources.

Best for: Guitars, Keys & Synths. Genres: Rock & Indie, Metal.

Keywords: aggressive, electric guitar, heavy, built-in mix knob, mixing, oversampling, resizable UI, single-band.

What it does

Gainia XT is the high-gain preamp in the series. Kuassa says it delivers high-gain tones without losing clarity or definition, for rock, metal and other heavy styles.

When to use it

Choose XT over its siblings HB and TD when you want modern high-gain rhythm and lead tones. It's a small, cheap preamp rather than a full amp suite like the rated amp simulators, so it works best as a piece in a chain: add a cab or IR after it, or use Kuassa's free Pillar Power Amp. Suits rock, metal and hard rock.
