When to use it

The middle-of-the-road member of the three-strong Gainia preamp series (HB, TD, XT): vintage-style overdrive rather than the tube-driver character of the TD or the high gain of the XT. Pair it with Kuassa's free Pillar Power Amp for a preamp-plus-power-amp chain. Best for classic rock, blues and clean-to-crunch guitar; also useful for adding grit to bass or keys.
