What it does
Filtrator is a modulated filter pedal plugin combining a multi-mode filter, LFO modulation and built-in distortion.
- Modulation: adjustable LFO rate and depth, several waveforms (sine, square and others), and cutoff start and end points.
- Filter and drive: resonance control and integrated distortion.
- Stereo: mono or stereo output with spread, panning and ping-pong modes.
It works as an Amplifikation 360 module (v1.2.7 or later).
When to use it
Use it for auto-wah, filter sweeps and rhythmic filtering on guitars, bass and synths. It is a simple, single-screen effect and lacks the modulation routing of the rated modulation tools (ShaperBox 3, Portal), so it suits quick wobble and sweep effects.
