Kleverb by Klevgrand

Kleverb is an algorithmic reverb from Klevgrand with small, medium and large rooms, decay times up to 25 seconds and filters on early and late reflections.

It adds modulation, diffusion, a ducker keyed from the dry signal and early/late mixing, for $59.99.

Best for: Vocals, Guitars, Keys & Synths, Drums, Mix Bus. Genres: all genres.

Keywords: algorithmic, ducking, AUv3/iOS, room, CPU-light, mixing, vocals, AI assistant, bus processing, drums, full mix, mix bus, sidechain input, wide.

What it does

Kleverb is Klevgrand's "Algorithmic Reverb", described as "A smart reverb, designed to fit in any mix." It simulates rooms of different sizes on one page and adds a built-in ducker, so the tail stays clear of the dry signal; Klevgrand pitches it for anything from acoustic jazz to EDM.

The current version is 1.1.3. The free demo is the full version with occasional audio dropouts.

When to use it

Kleverb is the simpler, lighter choice when you want a clean mix reverb with ducking built in. Compared with FabFilter Pro-R 2 it has no visual decay EQ or detailed tail display, but it covers the basics (size, decay, filters, modulation) and adds a ducker that Pro-R 2 does not have. It is less coloured than VintageVerb, with no era or vintage modes, and offers fewer room algorithms than Valhalla Room. Users on iPad also found it light on CPU, which helps when running several instances.

What producers say

The few user comments found are positive about the sound and the low CPU load, mainly from iPad users of the AUv3 version.
