What it does

Carve EQ is Kilohearts' 31-band graphic equaliser, built around a fast, clean filtering system with simple controls.

31 bands: classic graphic-EQ layout with digitally clean filters.
EQ matching: match one signal's tonal balance to another, with EQ profiles from well-known songs included.
Resizable interface: adjustable UI scaling; light on CPU so many instances can be stacked.
Snapin: also loads inside Snap Heap and other Kilohearts hosts.

It is sold separately or included in the Kilohearts Subscription; a 10-day trial is available.

When to use it

Carve EQ is for broad, fast tonal shaping with sliders, and for matching a track to a reference. For surgical parametric work with a large number of dynamic options, it is a less common pick than FabFilter Pro-Q 4; Kilohearts' own Slice EQ is its parametric alternative. Best for quick mix and mastering tweaks across any genre.
