What it does

Paradox VC Rotary is Kiive Audio's rotary speaker effect with a vibrato and chorus section built in front of it. Kiive pitches it as a writing tool more than a mix fix: "VC Rotary is built to inspire your music."

When to use it

VC Rotary is the pick when you want a rotary effect as a creative colour, not a strict Leslie copy. Compared with UA's Waterfall Rotary Speaker or Slate's Rotary SD-147, it adds six vibrato and chorus voices in front of the rotors, so it covers more of the classic organ chain in one plugin. Unlike UberMod or MicroShift, it gives the real spinning-speaker motion with separate drum and horn speeds and a tube drive. One reviewer found it closer to rotary guitar pedals than to a faithful Hammond and Leslie emulation, so purists may prefer a dedicated cabinet model.

What producers say

Early feedback is positive about its character and range, with the caveat that it is not a faithful hardware Leslie.
