Poly Space is an ambient reverb from Karanyi Sounds that combines DSP algorithms and impulse responses behind two main controls, Magnitude and Longitude.

What it does

Poly Space is an ambient reverb built for speed: two macro knobs over a hybrid engine. The developer pitches it for "unreal, superlush spaces" on any sound source.

Magnitude: takes the reverb from gentle to epic, growing its size and weight.
Longitude: extends and smooths the length of the tail.
Hybrid engine: DSP algorithms combined with a convolution engine and DSP delays, using technology from the developer's Polyscape instrument.
Content: 50+ custom reverb algorithms and impulse responses sampled from vintage hardware and algorithmic reverbs.
Smart Random: one button for instant variations.
Mixing controls: Dry/Wet and In-Out knobs, plus 30+ factory and artist presets.

When to use it

Poly Space is the better pick when you want a big, dreamy space in seconds and don't want to edit parameters. Compared with Supermassive and Blackhole, it has far fewer controls and no feedback-delay or shimmer modes to explore, but it gets to a lush result faster. It is the opposite of Pro-R 2: no EQ, decay shaping or natural room design, just two macro knobs. Unlike VintageVerb, it doesn't offer era-based colour modes or classic plate and room types for mixing.

Best for: lush pads, ambient guitars, dreamy vocals and wide, washy spaces in a few clicks.
Genres: ambient, dream pop, chillwave, cinematic, electronic and lo-fi.
Look elsewhere if: you need natural rooms or detailed reverb editing (Pro-R 2, VintageVerb) or deep ambient control for free (Supermassive).
Tip: start from a preset, raise Magnitude for size and weight, then set Longitude for a smoother sustain (MusicRadar).

Reviewers and users praise how quickly it reaches atmospheric sounds; the main reservation is limited control.

MusicRadar said there is "probably no faster route" to amazing reverb sounds, praising the simple two-knob design and atmospheric tone, but noted it offers little depth for tweakers and suits ambient styles best.
