What it does

Finality is a limiter for controlling peaks and level on drums, vocals, guitars, synths and full mixes.

Modes: Hard and Soft modes change the transient character.
Aggro Release: changes the release behaviour, especially useful on drums.
Color: a button that adds saturation.
Other controls: Mix for parallel limiting, Look-Ahead, a side-chain option for low-end-heavy material, and Auto Gain (which can be switched off).

It comes in two editions, Lite and Advanced (Advanced includes Lite).

When to use it

A low-cost loudness limiter with a bit of colour, well suited to rock and metal drum buses and loud mixes. For mastering-grade transparency and metering, the rated limiters such as FabFilter Pro-L 2 or Newfangled Elevate offer more.
