What it does
DLYM is Imaginando's stereo chorus and flanger, built to turn static mono parts into moving stereo, from a light shimmer to jet-style sweeps. Its sound grew out of the chorus in Imaginando's DRC synth, and the interface is kept deliberately simple.
- Two modes: Dimension, a clean Dimension-style chorus, and Analog, a warmer vintage-modelled mode.
- Stereo dual-delay engine: two delay lines driven by two LFOs offset by 90 degrees, with cubic-interpolated delays for smooth modulation.
- Delay time: a base delay of 1 to 90 ms, reaching up to 100 ms when modulated, which covers both chorus and flanger ranges.
- LFO: six waveforms (sine, square, saw, triangle, sample and hold, filtered sample and hold), free-running from 0.005 to 20 Hz or synced to the host tempo.
- Feedback: 0 to 98%, for anything from mild doubling to resonant, metallic flanging.
- Spread and Crossover: Spread sets stereo width from 0 to 100%; the Crossover tone control (0 to 1,000 Hz) keeps low frequencies out of the effect so bass stays centred.
- Presets and display: 40 factory presets, numeric readouts, a tempo indicator, a mono/stereo signal indicator and a resizable window.
The desktop license is sold outright or rent-to-own, with a 14-day refund guarantee. The demo has no time limit, but plays a short noise burst every 60 seconds, disables saving and does not recall settings when a project is reopened.

When to use it
DLYM is the pick when you want chorus and flanging in one inexpensive, easy plugin rather than a copy of one hardware box. Compared with Arturia's Chorus JUN-6 and Chorus DIMENSION-D, which each model a single classic unit, it covers a clean Dimension-style chorus, a warmer analog mode and full flanging with up to 98% feedback. Unlike TAL-Chorus-LX, which is free but sticks to Juno-style chorus settings, DLYM adds six LFO shapes, tempo sync and a crossover to protect the low end. It has less of the thick, vintage character of Eventide's TriceraChorus, but it is cheaper and simpler to dial in.
- Best for: widening synths, keys and clean guitars, adding motion to pads, and tempo-synced flanger sweeps.
- Genres: synth-pop, electronic, indie, ambient and any style that needs stereo movement.
- Look elsewhere if: you want an exact model of a specific hardware chorus (Chorus JUN-6, Chorus DIMENSION-D or TAL-Chorus-LX) or the denser vintage colour of TriceraChorus.
