What it does

A T-RackS tape machine model based on the TASCAM 388, an 8-track recorder with a built-in mixer.

Tape formulas: BASF LPR35, Ampex 456, Quantegy GP9 and Ampex 499.
Signal path: Input or Repro modes.
EQ and bias: adjustable record bias and a 3-band parametric EQ.
Speed: 7.5 to 15 or 15 to 30 ips.
Realism: true stereo processing and transport modeling, with presets included.
Available in the T-RackS TASCAM Tape Collection, T-RackS 6 Max and Total Studio 5 Max.
