Delay: BPM-syncable delay times with stereo operation and two independent delay lines.
Tape behaviour: adjustable hiss, wear, wow and flutter, and AC line hum (US or EU).
Preamp: gain and tape wear controls, so it works as either a clean delay or an extreme effect.
Fully automatable. Included in T-RackS 6 Pro and Max and Total Studio 5 Pro and Max.

When to use it

Tape Echo gives the Echoplex sound: slap-back and warm repeats that suit surf and rock guitar, and vocals. It is simpler than EchoBoy, and unlike IK's Space Delay it has no spring reverb and no multi-head patterns.
