When to use it

SampleTank 4 is a general-purpose library instrument: one plugin that covers the basic sounds for sketching songs or scoring, with drums, bass and keys on separate parts. It is a broad workstation rather than a specialist instrument, so dedicated piano, orchestral or synth plugins go deeper in their own area. The free CS edition is an easy way to try the engine.
