What it does

EQ PG is a T-RackS module modelled on vintage American graphic EQ hardware, with a preamp stage added in front.

Graphic EQ: ten vertical sliders on fixed frequencies, with reciprocal boost and cut.
Discrete-style circuitry: IK models an output transformer and custom op-amp character, with proportional Q.
Preamp: a transformer-flavoured stage whose saturation runs from clean to hard-clipped.

When to use it

A colouring, broad-strokes EQ rather than a surgical one. Fixed-frequency sliders make it quick to shape a whole mix or a bus, and the preamp adds weight. For precise, adjustable-band work, look at IK's EQual or Master EQ 432 instead.
