What it does
Channel Strip X is a T-RackS channel strip combining EQ, dynamics and shaping tools.
- EQ: tailored EQ presets for specific instruments and ensembles, with an adjustable EQ impact control.
- Dynamics: a MultiBand Compressor with adjustable ratio and auto-gain, a dynamic de-esser and Transient Recover.
- Colour: vintage preamp emulation.
- Stereo: stereo enhancement and mono maker controls.
- Metering: input/output meters and a phase scope.

When to use it
A preset-driven channel strip for getting a track to a usable starting point quickly. It is more modern and multiband than IK's British Channel, which models a specific console.
It is available on its own and in every T-RackS 6 and Total Studio 5 edition.
