An AI dialogue repair plugin for Pro Tools that separates speech from room reverb, background noise and short transient sounds, and lets you rebalance them with faders.
It comes as two AudioSuite plugins: Hush Mix, which renders a rebalanced version, and Hush Split, which renders voice, noise and reverb to separate clips. It needs an Apple Silicon Mac.

What it does
Hush Pro is an AI dialogue repair tool for Pro Tools from developer Ian Sampson. It isolates speech from room reflections, ambient noise and short transient sounds, with no noise profile to learn.
- Hush Mix: a mixer-style window with separate faders for dialogue, noise and reverb, rendered back to the clip.
- Hush Split: renders dialogue, noise and reverb to separate lanes so you can edit and mix them non-destructively.
- Previews: live AudioSuite previews with click-free loops and per-channel controls.
- Speed: runs on the GPU and Neural Engine of Apple Silicon Macs.
It is AudioSuite only (Pro Tools). There's a 21-day trial and a cheaper standalone Hush app for podcasters.

When to use it
Hush Pro does the same job as Clarity Vx Pro and Clarity Vx DeReverb Pro, but offline inside Pro Tools, with a model tuned for film dialogue, where the Waves plugins and dxRevive Pro run in real time on any DAW. Being able to split voice, noise and reverb onto separate clips is unusual; it lets a mixer keep some room or background to match other takes.
- Best for: film, TV and documentary dialogue editing in Pro Tools, especially reverberant or noisy location sound.
- Genres: post-production and spoken word.
- Look elsewhere if: you don't use Pro Tools, or you need real-time processing on an insert.
What producers say
Post-production reviewers rate the results very highly; the format limits are the main complaint.
- Production Expert (2024) called it 'one of the absolute best' for dialogue restoration, with exceptional reverb and noise reduction and minimal artefacts, and has published a series of workflow videos with it.
- Gripes: AudioSuite only, so every change has to be rendered.
