A pitch-shift widener that adds two voices, one shifted up and one down, for a smooth modulation on vocals and lead parts.
It has only Detune, Delay and Wet/Dry knobs, so it is quick to set from subtle thickening to an obvious effect.

What it does
Harrison Micro Glide "creates two additional voices that are pitch-shifted up and down from the original" to add pitch modulation that makes vocals and lead instruments sound wider and more expressive.
- Two pitch-shifted voices: one above and one below the original, blended for a lush, spacious sound.
- Detune knob: sets the spread of the shifted voices from subtle to extreme.
- Delay knob: adds depth and space to the processed voices.
- Wet/Dry knob: balances the original and processed signals.
- Uses: sweetening lead vocals and instruments and helping key parts stand out.
When to use it
Micro Glide does the same job as Soundtoys MicroShift and Waves Doubler: thickening and widening a part with detuned copies. MicroShift has more character options and a focus control. Micro Glide is the simpler of the three, with three knobs.
- Best for: widening lead vocals, synth leads, guitars and reverb returns.
- Genres: any.
- Look elsewhere if: you want several vintage doubler styles or real double-tracking; MicroShift or a vocal doubler does more.
