A modelled Hammond B-3 tonewheel organ from GSi (Genuine Soundware), the result of about 15 years of work since the original VB3. It models 91 tonewheels, two manuals and pedals, and a rotary speaker with virtual mic placement.
It is light on CPU and aimed at players who want a realistic organ for rock, gospel, soul and jazz. A separate GSiRotary effect is included for processing other sounds.

What it does
VB3-II is GSi's rebuilt tonewheel organ simulator, modelled on a vintage Hammond B-3.
- Organ model: 91 modelled tonewheels, 61-note upper and lower manuals plus 25 pedals, two drawbar sets per manual, vibrato/chorus scanner and tube overdrive.
- Rotary: rotary speaker simulation with virtual microphone positions; the bundled GSiRotary plugin processes other audio.
- Extras: spring and digital reverb, MIDI learn and low CPU use.
When to use it
A focused, realistic B-3 for players who care mainly about organ sound and feel. It has fewer extras than Arturia's B-3 V2; the rated Hammond B-3X is the more common recommendation.
What producers say
Sample Library Review (2018) found it captured the vintage Hammond sound remarkably well and liked that it doesn't need Kontakt.
