Tiltshift is a tilt EQ that moves a sound from warm to bright with one slider, using gentle slopes and a loudness lock.

It adds sweepable high and low cut filters with resonance, and costs $29.

Best for: Mix Bus, Mastering, Vocals, Keys & Synths, Drums. Genres: all genres.

Keywords: bright, gentle, warm, full mix, bass, beginner-friendly, bus processing, CPU-light, drums, mastering, minimal controls, mix bus, mixing, single knob, spectral, static, vocals.

What it does

Tiltshift is pitched as "superior tone-shaping, from mix to master." Its tilt slopes are very gentle, typically under 1 dB per octave, which the developer says changes phase and transients less than standard EQ curves.

Goodhertz's downloads page lists version 3.14.1 (June 2026) for its plugin line (the online manual covers 3.13). It runs mono, mono-to-stereo or stereo, and all controls automate without clicks or zipper noise. A 30-day free trial is available.

When to use it

Tiltshift does one broad tone move very simply, with loudness compensation so you judge tone rather than level. Compared with Pro-Q 4 and TDR Nova, it has no parametric bands or dynamic EQ, but it is much quicker for overall brightness or warmth. TDR VOS SlickEQ also offers broad tone curves, while Tiltshift adds steep, resonant high and low cuts with Listen buttons. Unlike the Pultec Passive EQ Collection, it adds no analog colour.
