Tactic 2 is Glitchmachines' phrase generator for "evolving sequences and metamorphic patterns," built for "anything from subtle percussive grooves to experimental hyperglitch chaos."

When to use it

Tactic 2 is closer to a generative sequencer than a drum machine. It is slower than Sitala and XLN XO for building conventional beats, and like Audiomodern Playbeat 4 it generates pattern variations, but with a less straightforward drum focus. Pick Tactic 2 for glitchy, ever-changing percussion and textures.
