Studio Cabs: Cali Oversized Edition by GetGood Drums

Cabinet plugin with six Cali-style guitar cabs recorded by Adam Getgood, with phase-coherent mic blending.

Best for: Guitars. Genres: Metal, Rock & Indie.

Keywords: electric guitar, impulse-response based, mono-compatible, heavy.

What it does

A guitar cabinet IR plugin for heavily distorted tones, with six Cali-style 4x12 cabinets recorded by Adam Getgood.

Cabinets: Massive, Upfront, Thick, Smooth, Detailed and Guttural.
Mics: eight microphone models, including SM57, MD421, R121 and C414, on seven blendable channels.
Blending: phase-coherent IRs so mics can be mixed without comb filtering.
Extras: master EQ and IR export for use in other software or hardware.

When to use it

Use it as a cab stage after an amp sim or profiler when you want big, modern high-gain cab tones and control over mic blend. Being IR based, it is a cab-only tool, so it sits alongside amp simulators rather than replacing them.

Genres: modern metal, djent and heavy rock.
Compared with: GetGood's Contenders Round 1 pack, which has eight cabinets, the Cali edition has fewer cabs but is voiced for the Cali-style high-gain sound.
