When to use it

Stereo Tool is the pick when you want to fix balance, phase and width and see the result on a scope, for free and in one plugin. Compared with Ozone Imager, it has no multiband width control or stereo enhancement, but it adds per-channel gain, pan and polarity switches that Ozone Imager lacks. Compared with S1 Stereo Imager it is simpler, with no rotation or asymmetry controls. Against creative wideners such as Polyverse Wider, it is a correction and analysis tool rather than a widening effect.
