What it does

When to use it

Bloom Palette Object is a quick source of found-sound grooves. Unlike XLN Life, which turns your own recordings into beats, it uses curated sounds, and it is narrower than Output Arcade and Lunacy CUBE, which are wider-ranging sample instruments. Pick Bloom Palette Object when you want curated foley percussion and textures ready to sequence, without recording anything.

Best for: organic, foley-based percussion and textures for electronic, lo-fi and hip-hop beats.
Genres: electronic, UK garage, lo-fi, hip-hop and ambient.
Look elsewhere if: you want to build grooves from your own recordings; XLN Life is built for that.
Standout: tuned foley, which makes household sounds usable as melodic parts.
