What it does
MicroPitch is a dual-voice pitch shifter for doubling, chorus-like thickening and stereo widening, and it descends from the H910 and H949 Harmonizers.
- Voices: two independent voices, each shifting from unison to +/-50 cents with up to 2 seconds of delay.
- Controls: Tone, Modulation and Feedback, with tempo-synced delay.
- Performance: a Ribbon macro for morphing between settings, and MIDI keyboard/mod wheel support.
When to use it
MicroPitch is a widener that changes pitch rather than time or phase alone, so it thickens a sound without the wobble of a typical chorus. It is comparable to Soundtoys MicroShift (rated in the modulation list), from another developer.
