What it does

H910 Harmonizer recreates Eventide's 1975 H910, described by the developer as the first digital effects processor.

Core effects: pitch shifting by musical intervals, delay with feedback, and self-oscillation.
Modulation: an envelope follower and MIDI keyboard control.
Character: an Anti-Feedback modulation effect and optional emulation of the original unit's glitching.
H910 Dual: two units in parallel for doubling effects.

When to use it

The H910 is for the classic sound of early digital pitch shifting, including its glitches, rather than clean modern pitch correction. For a more polished vintage harmonizer, the H949 recreation is the smoother sibling; for subtle detuning, MicroPitch is simpler.

Best for: vocal doubling, thickening, lo-fi pitch effects and drum or guitar treatments.
