What it does
museq is a five-band Class-A parametric EQ modelled on elysia's hardware Musical Equalizer.
- Bands: three parametric mid bands plus high and low shelves, which can become resonant filters.
- Per-band options: boost/cut switching, wide or narrow bandwidth, and bypass.
- Warm mode: slew-rate limiting for harmonic coloring.
- Extras: mid/side matrix, oversampling, and Mix (mono) and stereo versions.
When to use it
museq gives smooth, musical broad moves. It is closer in spirit to PuigTec or Massive Passive than to Pro-Q 4.
- Best for: mixing and mastering where you want gentle results.
