What it does
DeeVoltage is a saturator that the developer calls "an energy booster for your sound." It covers the range from light warmth to extreme distortion in one plugin, aimed at density and presence.
- Saturation range: from subtle warmth and added harmonics up to aggressive distortion.
- METAL Mode: a dedicated mode that turns it into a heavy distortion for intense, aggressive tones.
- Asymmetric shaping: the positive and negative halves of the waveform are shaped independently, for creative sound design.
- Harmonics: adds harmonics and saturation to make tracks denser and more present.
- Uses: the developer suggests punch and presence on drums and bass, an edgy character on guitars and synths, and more energy in mixes.
Version 1.0.2 (13 January 2026) improved drawing performance; 1.0.1 (September 2025) fixed slow exports in some DAWs, and the first release was 1.0.0 on 22 August 2025. The free demo inserts one second of silence every 30 seconds.

When to use it
DeeVoltage is for when you want one saturator that can go from warmth all the way to metal-style distortion. Compared with Saturation Knob, it reaches much heavier distortion through METAL Mode and adds asymmetric shaping, at the cost of being less of a one-knob tool. Compared with Decapitator, it has no named hardware styles and no tone filters, so there is less to shape after the drive. Unlike Radiator, it does not model a vintage tube mixer, so it suits aggressive sources more than gentle vintage colour.
- Best for: grit and presence on drums, bass, guitars and synths, up to heavy distortion.
- Genres: rock, metal and electronic music.
- Look elsewhere if: you want specific hardware characters or tone-shaping filters; Decapitator offers more. For gentle bus warmth, Saturation Knob or Radiator are simpler.
