DeeVocalTools combines a de-esser, multiband compressor, vocal EQ and pitch-tracking doubler, each run from a single slider.
It is aimed at fixing thin, unstable or unclear vocals quickly, and costs $50.
Best for: Vocals. Genres: all genres.
Keywords: vocals, single knob, multi-band, thick, tracking, beginner-friendly, dialogue, enhancement, minimal controls, podcast, simple, thin.
What it does
DeeVocalTools puts four vocal processors in one plugin, each run by a single slider. Dotec-Audio pitches it for "easily solving problems like thin, unstable, or unclear vocals."
- De-esser: one slider to reduce harsh sibilance.
- Multiband compressor: evens out vocal loudness in a balanced way across the frequency range, again from one slider.
- Vocal EQ: a single slider for adjusting the top end (high frequencies) of the voice.
- Doubler: a pitch-tracking doubling effect that adds the thickness of layered takes to a single vocal.
- One-slider design: no thresholds, ratios or frequencies to set; each problem gets one amount control.
Version 1.3.0 (19 August 2026) follows the first release in March 2026 and updates in April and June that improved performance and stability. The free demo inserts one second of silence every 30 seconds.

When to use it
DeeVocalTools is for quick vocal fixes when you do not want to set up a chain. Compared with Nectar 4, it has only four modules and no pitch correction, reverb or assistant, but each section is a single slider and it costs less. Its de-esser is far simpler than Pro-DS or Sibilance, with no frequency, threshold or listen controls, so it suits general taming rather than precise work on difficult sibilance. Unlike Vocal Rider, it controls level with a multiband compressor rather than gain riding, and it adds a doubler that none of those three include.
- Best for: quick vocal clean-up and thickening on demos, podcasts and home recordings.
- Genres: any genre with vocals.
- Look elsewhere if: you want pitch correction, reverb or detailed de-esser settings; Nectar 4 or Pro-DS does more.
